9 Grain Bread is baked with a sourdough starter based on a 60 /40 whole wheat to white wheat flour. The grains in this bake include barley, flax, millet, oats, wheat, rye, corn, sesame, sunflower and pumpkin seeds. We touch off this bread with the addition of brown sugar to add a subtle sweetness to balance off the whole-wheat flour.
